 TATEL Valencia offers a stylish and immersive dining experience in the heart of the city, combining high-quality Mediterranean cuisine with live music, flamenco and an elegant late-night atmosphere.

From the moment we arrived, the venue immediately gave off 1920s speakeasy vibes with a Spanish twist — dark elegant interiors, an immaculate central bar and a sophisticated but welcoming atmosphere. The staff were professional, attentive and spoke excellent English, making the experience particularly comfortable for international visitors.

On Thursday evenings, TATEL hosts “TATEL x Rumbas”, a dinner show experience featuring live flamenco-inspired performances blended with a live DJ set throughout the evening.

 What makes TATEL stand out is the balance between quality dining and entertainment without either overshadowing the other.

The live music duo, female vocalist and Spanish guitarist  created a fantastic atmosphere throughout the evening, while the flamenco dancer moved naturally through the restaurant interacting with guests and bringing real energy to the experience.

The transition later in the evening from restaurant ambience into a more vibrant lounge atmosphere also worked extremely well, giving the night a natural progression rather than feeling rushed.

From a dining perspective, the quality of ingredients was excellent throughout.

Standout dishes included:

One of the highlights of the evening. Fresh Valencian tomato paired beautifully with delicate tuna belly, sweet pickled cucumber and pine nut vinaigrette. Light, balanced and full of flavour.

A real surprise favourite. Tender sliced pork served with finely sliced pickled onions and a touch of sour cream, packed with flavour while remaining beautifully balanced.

Prepared traditionally with hand-cut beef rather than minced meat, giving it excellent texture and freshness.

The house cheesecake with honey ice cream also finished the meal perfectly.

 Guests can expect a premium but relaxed dining experience with live entertainment throughout the evening.

The restaurant atmosphere steadily builds during the night, beginning with elegant dinner service before gradually transitioning into a livelier late-evening social atmosphere with DJ music after dinner service.

Service throughout the evening was friendly, attentive and professional without ever feeling intrusive.

Prices are in line with a premium Valencia dining experience. Our evening including starters, main courses, dessert and drinks came to approximately 133€ for two people.

What impressed us most was how naturally the entire evening flowed. The transition between elegant dinner service, live flamenco performances and the later DJ-led atmosphere felt seamless, creating a complete night out rather than simply a restaurant visit.

The live music and flamenco performances added genuine energy to the room without overpowering the dining experience, while the attentive and professional staff helped create a relaxed and welcoming environment throughout the evening.

From a culinary perspective, the quality of ingredients and presentation consistently matched the premium setting. Every dish felt carefully prepared, balanced and designed to complement the overall experience.

TATEL Valencia is not simply somewhere to eat, it is somewhere to spend the evening.
