ISF 2026 UPDATE: Official Event App Now Available as Programme Takes Shape

With the 20th International Symposium on Fireworks (ISF 2026) now just over six weeks away, preparations are continuing in Valencia ahead of the international pyrotechnics community arriving for the symposium from 12–16 October 2026.

There have been a few useful developments since our last update.

The official ISF 2026 event app is now available for delegates.

The app will provide attendees with access to important symposium information and their event entry pass, helping delegates stay connected throughout the event.

Delegates should refer to the official ISF information for details on accessing and using the app.

One of the questions we are receiving most frequently is about the pyrotechnic shows and fireworks programme.

The ISF 2026 organising team has confirmed to us that the shows calendar is still being prepared, along with the wider programme of activities taking place during the symposium.

At this stage, therefore, specific dates, times and details of the pyrotechnic shows have not yet been officially confirmed.

Further information will be published as the programme is finalised.

Registration for ISF 2026 remains open.

Delegates should be aware that the early registration rate of $750 is available until 11 September 2026.

After this date, the standard registration rate is $900.

With less than two months to go until the 20th International Symposium on Fireworks (ISF 2026) arrives in Valencia, preparations are gathering pace for what promises to be a major week for the international pyrotechnics community.

Taking place from 12–16 October 2026, ISF 2026 will bring together pyrotechnic professionals, manufacturers, researchers, designers and industry specialists from around the world for five days of technical presentations, professional networking, exhibitions and fireworks-related activities.

There have been several important developments since our last update in July.

The Meliá Valencia, official host hotel for ISF 2026, is now fully booked.

This is an important milestone as delegates from around the world prepare to travel to Valencia for the symposium.

If you have not yet secured accommodation, alternative hotels and accommodation options are available throughout Valencia. Delegates should make arrangements as soon as possible, particularly with the symposium now less than two months away.

The Trade Show is also now fully booked, highlighting the scale of interest surrounding this year's symposium.

The exhibition will bring together companies from across the international fireworks and special-effects industry, providing delegates with the opportunity to discover products, technologies, firing systems and other specialist equipment.

Technical Submissions & Logistical Framework Finalized

The Asociación Española de la Pirotecnia (AEPIRO) held its second major assembly of 2026 to review the roadmap for the Valencia symposium.

• Behind Closed Doors: The committee has formally advanced the selection of technical papers, logistical budgets, and the presentation schedule for global delegates.

• The Scope: Expect a heavy focus on the latest global regulations, environmental compromises (such as eco-friendly smoke/debris reductions), and advanced engineering safety protocols.

Note: We are still waiting on official confirmation regarding public safety zoning, viewing areas, and accessibility for any evening demonstration displays in Valencia.
