#Valencia Gears Up for an Explosive #NewYearsEve 2025/2026!

Valencia is getting ready to say goodbye to 2025 in the most spectacular way possible! With #music, #magic, and a truly incredible #fireworks show lighting up the night sky across the city by Pirotecnia Vulcano 👏👏

As always, Plaza del Ayuntamiento will be the beating heart of the celebration, while two additional firing zones ensure the sky is filled with pyrotechnic brilliance no matter where you choose to stand. And yes… all three displays will be perfectly synchronised. 🔥🎆

🧒🎊 Kid’s Countdown – 11:00am to 12:30pm

Before the big night arrives, the little ones get their moment!
From 11:00 to 12:30, Plaza del Ayuntamiento will host the traditional children’s New Year’s Eve celebration complete with music, confetti, and a fun mini-countdown so they can ring in 2026 early. A magical way for Valencia’s youngest to kick off the day! ✨👧👦

🌙🎶 Night Party & Countdown – From 22:30 to 01:45

From 22:30, the square transforms into a giant open-air party with live DJs, lights, and a fantastic New Year’s Eve atmosphere. Thousands pack into the plaza every year and it gets very busy, but the energy is electric and unforgettable. If you love the buzz of big crowds, this is the place to be. 🎧💃🕺

🎆🔥 The Fireworks – Three Shows, Three Points, One Sky, Fully Synchronised ❤️‍🔥

The highlight of the night arrives at 23:59, when Pirotecnia Vulcano launches three fireworks displays at the same moment:

🎇 1. Plaza del Ayuntamiento – Fired directly from the roof of the Town Hall, creating a dramatic curtain of colour above the iconic building. The experience from inside the square is intense, up-close, and thrilling.

🎇 2. Monteolivete Bridge – A fantastic option if you prefer more space, wider views, and a cleaner vantage point.

🎇 3. Section XIV of the old Turia Riverbed (Rose Garden, CAC area) – Perfect for those who want bigger breaks, more height, and that classic panoramic Valencia skyline.

👉 Tip from us:
If you want the full Valencian New Year atmosphere then go to the Ayuntamiento but it will be busy and the calibre of fireworks is reduced.

🎆 If you want breathing room and the most impressive fireworks then choose one of the two riverbed displays.
Either way, you won’t miss a thing… the shows are perfectly synchronised so the entire city celebrates together under one spectacular sky. 🎇

🥂✨ A Night to Celebrate Together

New Year's Eve in Valencia is a celebration of joy, unity, and hope. Whether you're in the bustling plaza or enjoying the views from the riverbed, you’ll be part of one of the most magical nights of the year, welcoming 2026 with music, emotion, and of course… fireworks. ❤️🎆

This is the information received on 27/11/2025 and we will notify you of any changes 💥🍾🍇🥂

#LasFallas #Valencia Wins Best National Festival at the Spain Travel Awards 2025!

Valencia’s beloved #Fallas has just been crowned Best National Festival at the very first #Spain Travel Awards 2025, a huge recognition of what we already know: no one does culture, creativity, and pure explosive passion quite like Valencia! 💥✨

But that’s not all… Valencia also picked up the Sustainability Award, proving once again why it shone as European Green Capital 2024. A city of fire and responsibility? That’s our Valencia. 🌱🔥

🔥 Why Fallas Shines So Bright
The jury praised Fallas for its unbeatable ability to:
✨ Share Valencian culture with the world
🎨 Blend tradition, art, innovation, and satire
🌍 Stand tall as a global cultural reference

And with 10 years as a #UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage just around the corner, Fallas continues to confirm what anyone who’s stood in a #mascletà already knows…
This #festival is in a league of its own.

Paula Llobet, Councillor for Tourism, put it perfectly: Fallas is “a cultural treasure admired inside and outside our region,” and a true ambassador of Valencian identity.

🎭 Outshining Spain’s Biggest Festivals

Fallas didn’t just win, it won while competing against giants like:

🍅 La Tomatina (Buñol)
🎡 The Málaga Fair

A victory that highlights not only the festival’s prestige… but its unstoppable momentum. 🚀

🌱 A Festival That Cares for Its City

The extra win - the Sustainability Award is an important nod to Valencia’s commitment to a tourism model that respects both people and the environment.

As Llobet noted, true progress “only makes sense if it benefits everyone and protects the natural heritage that defines us.” Valencia is showing that a city can celebrate big while caring even bigger.

🎆 In Short…
Fallas is officially:
🏆 The Best Festival in Spain
🔥 One of the top cultural celebrations on the planet
🌍 A model for sustainable, meaningful tourism

Valencia Invests an additional €100,000 to Boost Pyrotechnics for #Fallas2026!

Valencia is turning up the volume for #Falles2026! The City Council has announced a brand-new funding program designed to help Fallas committees bring more #mascletàes, more castillos (fireworks displays), and more #gunpowder magic to every corner of the city. 🎆❤️

The goal? 👉 A true citywide Fallas, where fireworks aren’t just enjoyed in the centre, but explode with energy in every neighbourhood.

🎇💶 €100,000 to Spread Fire & Fiesta Across Valencia

The City Council has approved a budget of up to €100,000 to support commissions, with an initial €75,000 already secured and the possibility of adding another €25,000.
This financial boost aims to ensure that gunpowder remains at the heart of the celebration, and that no comisión misses out due to budget limits. 💥✨

🎆🔥 Up to €3,000 per Commission

Fallas committees can apply for subsidies if they are registered non-profits and part of the Junta Central Fallera.

Here’s what’s on offer:
✨ Minimum pyrotechnic spending: €4,000
✨ Aid covers up to 100% of eligible expenses
✨ Maximum grant: €3,000 per falla
Eligible activities include all the classics:
💥 #Mascletàs
🔥 #Cremà
🎇 #Castillos
🐉 #Correfocs
💫 #Cordàs
🌅 #Despertàs
… and any traditional pyrotechnic material of Fallas 2026!

🎤💬 “A Fallas for Every Neighbourhood”.

Fallas councillor and JCF president Santiago Ballester highlighted the mission clearly:

🌟 “We want Fallas celebrations and pyrotechnic displays to reach every district of Valencia.”
No more centralisation, every barrio deserves its moment of #fire, #thunder, and #fiesta! 🔥🎉

Valencia is preparing for a Fallas 2026 bursting with #colour, #sound, #tradition, and gunpowder… and this is just the beginning. 💛💙🔥

Unveiling the Official Posters for #Fallas2026 #Falles2026

The official graphic images for Fallas of Valencia 2026 is the work of Vicent Ramón, a vibrant celebration of everything that makes our festival unique. ✨

This year’s campaign features three symbolic scenes, each inspired by the pillars that earned Fallas its place as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity — tradition, living cultural heritage, and creativity.

🌸 The first scene reminds us that Fallas is a festival for the whole city, from L’Ofrena to La Nit del Foc, where elegance, flowers, music, and the sound of pólvora (gunpowder) fill the streets.

🥁🪈 The second captures the rhythm of the tabal and dolçaina, blending music, fire, and the beauty of Valencian dress, flames that ignite the soul of the celebration.

🎨👨🏻‍🎨👩🏼‍🎨 The third is a tribute to the artista faller, where colour floods the streets and creativity takes form, honouring the eternal cycle of fire, destruction and rebirth, the essence of Fallas itself.

🌟 Together, these images reflect everything that defines our fiesta: #fire and #fireworks, #music and #tradition, #ninots and #flowers, #falleras and #artists, craftsmanship, #culture, and #emotion. 🥰❤️‍🔥

Official Proclamation for #Fallas2026 #Falles2026

#Valencia City Council Defines Dates, Rules, and Safety Measures for the 2026 #Fallas 👇

The Fallas Proclamation for 2026 has now been approved by Valencia City Council, setting out all the official regulations for events, installations, #fireworks, and safety during the #festival period, from La #Crida on February 22nd through to La #Cremà on March 19th.

🏗️ Installation of Fallas Monuments and Tents

Between March 5 and March 19, Fallas committees will begin transferring and assembling their monuments in the streets.
Special and First Section Fallas may begin moving and storing monument pieces from March 5.
All other sections may do so from March 8.

The installation of tents (carpas) will be permitted between March 6 and March 21, though exceptions apply:
Committees located on vacant lots may begin from March 4.
Other exceptions may apply depending on the committee’s category and location.

🍩 Street Markets and Fritter Stalls

Fritter stalls (puestos de #buñuelos y #churros) and other street vendors must comply with the following rules:
Maximum structure height: 3 meters.
No tables or terraces allowed.
Food stalls are encouraged to group together to make better use of drinking water connections.

🎆 Fireworks and #Pyrotechnics 🎇🧨💥

⚠️ The City Council has issued updated guidelines for fireworks use during Fallas 2026:
To respect residents’ rest and animal welfare, fireworks should be avoided between 9:00–10:00 and 15:00–17:00, except in exceptional circumstances.
The use of fireworks is strictly prohibited in the Turia Gardens and children’s play areas.

New minimum safety distances have been established depending on the category of fireworks.

A new security measure will also apply during the daily #mascletàs:
San Ferran Street will now serve as an official evacuation route.
It must remain clear at all times; no spectators, parking, tables, or chairs and will be cordoned off for emergency use if required.

🚗 Traffic, Parking, and Accessibility

To help reduce congestion in the city centre during Fallas:
Park-and-ride facilities will be available at the city’s main entry points.
ORA (regulated parking) zones will change as follows:
Blue zone – suspended.
Orange zone – reserved exclusively for residents.
Green zone – normal operation maintained.

For accessibility, reserved spaces for people with disabilities will be available at key Fallas events, including:
💥The mascletàs in Plaza del Ayuntamiento.
🎇The nightly fireworks in L’Albereda.

🗣️ Final Notes;

Councillor Santiago Ballester highlighted that these measures aim to “ensure safety, accessibility, and respect for residents during the festival period.”
As preparations begin for Fallas 2026, Valencia once again balances its fiery traditions with public safety and organization, ready to welcome another spectacular celebration of light, colour, and culture. 🔥🎆🎇🧨🎉

Your Falla Municipal for 2026!

🌈✨ "HOPE" – The name for the Falla Municipal 2026 in Plaza del Ayuntamiento de València ✨🌈

Presented tonight, this year’s Falla Municipal stands as a symbol of reflection, resilience, and optimism for the future, a message that speaks to everyone, Valencians and visitors alike. 💛🔥

Created by Alejandro Santaeulalia and Vicente Llácer, with design by José Santaeulalia, “HOPE” combines art, emotion, and meaning in a way only Fallas can while reminding us that even in times of struggle, creativity and unity will always light the way forward. 🌟

A heartfelt congratulations to the entire team behind this powerful project, a work that will soon transform the heart of Valencia into a place of inspiration, colour, and hope. 🙌

Your Falla Infantil for 2026!

We can reveal the design for the 2026 Valencia City Hall 🔥🥰

The Plaza del Ayuntamiento Infantile Falla is created by @fallasmarioperez with a script by @manuel.andres.zarapico.

🌟 València is on the move… and we’re moving with it.
Because this city never stands still, it vibrates, evolves, reinvents itself. Every street, every neighbourhood, every smile… is movement. 🚶‍♀️🚲🚇

This year’s falla is a tribute to that ever-moving València:
💨 That moves on wheels — by EMT bus and metro.
🌿 That strolls through gardens, walks or cycles, and enjoys the fresh air.
🎭 That’s moved by its culture, festivals, and street art.

👵👴 That looks to the future without forgetting those who brought us here.
🐾 That walks its pets with care and kindness.
🎉 And that celebrates Fallas with sustainability, togetherness, and joy.

In “València es mou” (València Moves), we invite you to see the city with new eyes — to move with it, to love it as it is: modern, lively, and full of heart.

💛 Because València isn’t just a place.
It’s a heartbeat. A journey. An emotion.
And you are part of its movement.
