The Ajuntament of Sueca gives us the details and changes the day!
Yesterday morning was the appointment and press release for the #piromusical in #Sueca for 2024, as we had previously mentioned!
The show, by Pirotecnia Tamarit Pasión por la Tradición , will be on Friday, September 13th 2024 at the Recinte Fester area for the second year.
The XXII edition of the Sueca Pyromusical will once again become one of the benchmarks within the programming of the municipality's Major Festivals, this year with some new features, such as the change of day from Saturday to Friday.
The Councilor for Festivals, Gema Navarro, explained that the Tamarit pyrotechnic company will once again be in charge of this show in our city, which has become a benchmark at a European level. Likewise, it will be shot again at the Fester Venue, after the great acceptance it had last year, and we are sure that it will be a complete success that will allow us to enjoy, once again, a unique event here in Sueca.
The acting mayor, Joan Carles Vázquez, has expressed his gratitude to Pirotecnia #Tamarit, the Department of Festivals and the pyrotechnician Daniel Claver, for their involvement and the work that is being carried out. Likewise, he has encouraged citizens and visitors to come and see it, and has hoped that the weather conditions will be the best possible to be able to enjoy a great spectacle. Vázquez explained that this year, as well as a novelty, ticket sales have been planned “to guarantee that all people who access the Fester Venue have their seat and better visibility and organization. Likewise, it can be viewed for free from any other nearby point.”
For the technical collaborator of the show, the pyrotechnician, and close friend of ours, Daniel Claver tells us, "it is becoming more and more complex to surpass the level of the previous year, but again we will achieve it." Claver is, in turn, the creator of the poster for this edition, whose design is based "on a cinematographic creation, because I have always thought that a pyromusical has magic." Finally, he expressed his hope that the wind would be favorable so that all attendees could fully enjoy the show which, this year, "includes important innovations in terms of effects and pyrotechnic material that have not been fired before in Sueca," he announced.
The XXII edition of the Sueca Pyromusical will last 23 minutes and will dedicate a special role to the figure of a dragon. The show, in which around a thousand kilos of gunpowder will be used, will be divided into six different parts, each one dedicated to a decade represented by very recognizable songs "to express how music, and society, has evolved since the 60s to the present, with a reminder of the Covid pandemic, which seems to be very far away but that is not the case," explained Vicent Carsí, who stressed that not all music is valid to be used in a show. These characteristics, "the big difference between a pyromusical and a fireworks display with music lies in perfectly selecting the music to transform the pyrotechnics into ballet choreographies studied in every millisecond, so that the casing explodes right on the note." appropriate and everything fits perfectly.
Finally, Carsí has expressed his excitement about firing the show again in the municipality, “if one is capable of doing the Sueca Pyromusical, one can already do any show in the world due to the level of demand and dedication of its audience. For us, it will always be a privilege and an honour to have been able to work in this city.”
Tickets to attend the XXII Piromusical de Sueca can be purchased from the second half of August. The sale will be in person for people residing in Sueca and will have a price of 3 euros. People who come from other towns must purchase their ticket online at the price of 10 euros. Soon, all the information regarding this will be offered through the City Council's social networks.

The Monteolivete Bridge passes the test for the #NitdelFoc of #fallas2025 #falles2025
The shot allowed wide areas of visibility and it seems better than in the old riverbed, at the Alameda. That still has its greatest enemies in the depth and of course, trees!
The fireworks display last Saturday , the “Cosmos” show, inspired by Andreu Alfaro, has been the litmus test for the Puente de Monteolivete to become the possible new stage for the “Nit de Foc” of the #Fallas .
Things have to change a lot so that the streets that lead from the Plaza de Europa to the Plaza del Maraton is not the place from which the #fireworks are launched on the night of the 18th to the 19th March, the most important and media-friendly time of the year.
Last Saturday's firing was planned as a test bench for the #castillos visual and to analyse its capacity to fulfil what is not always easy in #Valencia and it will be tested again this Saturday 20th July by Pirotecnia Valenciana SL to ensure that the greatest possible number of people can see it. It is not the best place in the world, because Valencia does not have a perfect firing area for everyone, (one that is large and as central as possible), but the fact that it is fired high up is an advantage that surpasses the new location, in the Turia Garden, which is not bad, but this one is considered better.
More to come on this soon!!

Hi Fallas fans, both old and new! We have some news for you.
We're changing! And don't worry because everything essentially will stay the same. But after months of consideration we've ultimately decided to widen our audience base.
And therefore, instead of being "Las Fallas Information in English", we will be known as simply, "Valencia Fallas, Festes & Fireworks".
We think this fits the profile far more accurately and as forementioned gives us a lot more room to highlight some of the other great events that the Valencian community puts on. And there really are some AMAZING events!!
The major changes will happen over time such as website domain etc due to running subscriptions but for now we can already reveal the new logo and we hope you like it! Please see below...
So the website www.fallasinenglish.com will stay the same but will host a lot more different news about other events in the region. And the full calendar of events and fireworks (on web) will remain the same!!
Of course all of Fallas will continue to be covered in it's entirety as per normal!!
So that's it in a nutshell and we hope to continue growing with you.
Many thanks
FF&F

One common question we get asked is, “does Fallas get very busy?”, or it may be something you have heard someone say... but exactly how busy does it get? Simple answer is... EXTREMELY BUSY!!
Check out our photo for a fair idea.
So if it’s your first time to Las Fallas, Valencia, then make sure you are prepared!! I cannot stress that enough. Make sure you take water, maybe something to eat as well as suitable protection from the sun. Many people faint while waiting for the Mascletà every year so don’t become a statistic!
We also strongly recommend getting to the Mascletà at LEAST an hour and a half before shoot time which is always 14.00hrs unless it’s a Mascletà nocturna (night shoot). This is so you can find an area that will suit you, a curb to sit on for example or a wall behind to lean against or even a barrier in front to rest upon. Maybe even invest in a collapsible stall/chair from the local Chinese bazaar for around 10€?
Cruz Rojo (Red Cross) first aiders will be at hand should you have any problems. So just be safe and enjoy!!
Don’t forget, it’s a party!! So please make the most of every minute!
