Fallas, Festes & Fireworks is an independent cultural project dedicated to celebrating and preserving Valencia’s festivals, traditions, and world-renowned fireworks culture. Since 2017, we’ve provided the definitive English-language coverage of the region’s most explosive events.

The Insider’s Perspective:
What sets us apart is a lifetime of experience. Our founder is a trained pyrotechnician with a family history in gunpowder spanning generations. Having moved from the UK to the heart of Valencia, we bring a unique perspective that bridges the gap between the curious visitor and the deep-rooted local traditions.
Education & Literature
We believe in passing the torch to the next generation. As the author of four books, including the Insiders Guide to Fallas and the children's story Sparkie Meets Fallas, our mission is to provide more than just dates and times; we provide the stories and the science behind the smoke.
Fireworks & Pyrotechnic Culture
We actively support the fireworks industry, covering all major Fallas displays live and highlighting the artistry, tradition, and cultural importance of pyrotechnics in Valencian society.
Documenting the Art of Fire:
From the Mascletà to the Cremà, we document Valencia’s celebrations through professional photography, video, and a live pyrotechnics calendar.
Rooted in Valencia
Based in Valencia and working closely with local institutions, tourism offices, and the Junta Central Fallera (JCF), we aim to present authentic, up-to-date, and respectful coverage of the city’s and it's surroundings, traditions.
