Fallas 2026 important information

 Valencia officially announces that Sunday, 22 February 2026, will mark the vibrant celebration of Día de la Crida, the moment that opens the door to fallas. From dawn to nightfall, the city will pulse with tradition, emotion, and the unmistakable rhythm of a festival like no other.

06:30 – Plegaria de las Falleras Mayores de Valencia y sus Cortes de Honor

The day begins with a serene act of devotion as the Falleras Mayores and their Courts of Honour gather before Santa Bárbara, patroness of fire. This quiet, heartfelt moment sets a symbolic spark that will ignite the energy of the entire #fallas celebration.

07:00 – Despertà Infantil 

The younger falleros of #Valencia take the lead, filling the streets with excitement, small trons, and early-morning joy. Their laughter and energy awaken the city and mark the true “first sound” of fallas 2026.

07:30 – Macrodespertà
Impulsada por la Falla Corona

A roaring tidal wave of sound sweeps through the city as the famous Macrodespertà begins. Powered by Falla Corona, this epic wake-up call makes its way toward Plaza del Ayuntamiento, concluding with a spectacular “terremoto” that shakes the ground and electrifies the atmosphere.

After the explosions settle, participants will be welcomed with a warm desayuno fallero to recharge for the festivities ahead.

12:00 – Entrada de Bandas de Música

Dozens of musical bands fill the streets with traditional melodies and Valencian spirit. The city transforms into a joyful parade of rhythm, community, and culture, a perfect midday prelude to #falles.

14:00 – Mascletà in Plaza del Ayuntamiento 

The heart of #Valencia erupts with the raw power of the day’s first major #Mascletà. The square becomes a temple of sound, where thousands gather to feel, not just hear the artistry of controlled noise that defines fallas. A sensory explosion unlike anything else in the world.

19:30 – La #Crida2026 at Torres de Serranos 

Night falls, and the city unites at the iconic Torres de Serranos for the official call to the world: La #Crida. The #FallerasMayores de Valencia invite everyone to embrace and celebrate fallas 2026.
A dazzling finale of #lights, #colour, and #effects will illuminate the towers and mark the true beginning of the Fallas season.
